A Kingston man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and abduction on the Tyendinaga Reserve.
The Mohawk Police Service says 64-year-old Ernest Maracle was forced from his home and business on Monday morning after two men, holding him at gunpoint, took cash and cigarettes.
He was shoved into a vehicle and driven to Deseronto, where he was pushed out, suffering minor injuries during the ordeal. Twenty-five-year-old Gordon Hole was arrested on Monday afternoon, and an arrest warrant was issued for a second man.
They are charged with robbery with a firearm, theft of a motor vehicle, uttering death threats and pointing a firearm.
