It will help the housing situation on the Tyendinaga Reserve.
Local M-P Daryl Kramp says federalĀ on-reserve housing funding for Tyendinaga for the current fiscal year will total 725-thousand dollars.
The money comes from Canada’s Economic Action Plan, which is investing 400-million dollars over two years to support housing on First Nations.
The funds are dedicated to new social housing projects, the renovation of current social housing, and other housing activities.
