A Belleville man has been charged over mischief at a proposed landfill site near Midland.
Sixty-four-year-old David Milne, a social activist, was one of 17 people charged after protestors prevented construction workers from entering the property for several weeks this summer.
Landfill opponents claimed the dump could contaminate the local groundwater, and municipal politicians voted recently to rule out the site as a landfill.
