It’s been a rough few days for Parkhurst Transportation school bus drivers. The driver of a small station wagon swerved and slammed head-on into a school bus, yesterday afternoon, on Bellevue road, just north of the 401. Fortunately, there were no children on the bus, and the car and the school bus driver were not injured. On Monday afternoon, three children were hit while getting off a school bus in Thurlow….two girls have since been released from hospital . An 11-year old boy remains at KGH with non-life threatening head injuries. No charges have been laid against the driver the car that struck the children.
