The ground is cleared and construction of the new Wellington and District Community Centre officially begins today.
Local dignitaries will be on hand for the groundbreaking of the over 12 million dollar facility.
The new centre… which will be the new home of the Wellington Dukes… will include public meeting areas and a running track.
The groundbreaking is set for 2:00 this afternoon at the site of the facility on Belleville Street in Wellington
