Four new bridges… and a culvert in Tweed are officially ready for use.
M-P Daryl Kramp and M-P-P Leona Dombrowsky were in Tweed yesterday to annoucne the opening of the newly renovated Kennedy, Marshe, and Sherry and Doran bridges… along with the Marlbank Culvert.
Work included new structures with full highway loading capacity…and new railing systems.
The renovations… which were part of the Canada-Ontario Municipal Rural Infrastructure project… were done to a tune of just over 1 million dollars from the provinical and federal governments… with the balance of just over 3 million… funded by the municipality of Tweed.
