Thieves have been a nuisance to the Crowe Valley Conservation Authority.
There was a breakin this summer to the main building at the Crowe Bridge Conservation Area, northeast of Campbellford.
Authority General Manager Tim Pidduck says there was an attempted break and enter at the authority office in Marmora, and a similar incident at the Marmora hydro plant on the Crowe River..
He says, unfortunately, many Crowe Valley buildings are on remote properties, and can be targets for vandals and thieves.
