Members of the public laid a total of eight complaints against Belleville’s police officers during the second quarter of this year…just one up from the same period last year. These included five of discreditable conduct, two regarding use of force and one of neglect of duty. Chief Cory McMullan says one complaint has been withdraw, but seven are still under investigation.
