A Picton man has been sentenced to 14 days in jail for stealing shoes in Pembroke.
Twenty-five-year-old Michael Bryan of Richmond Street pleaded guilty yesterday in Pembroke Court to theft under five-thousand dollars and breaching conditions of his probation.
He had been given a suspended sentence for fraud in Picton court last January, and was put on probation for one year.
Bryan was charged after taking off his old shoes at a store in Pembroke in early April, putting them in a new shoes box, and wearing the unpaid-for footwear out of the store.
