Canada’s minister of defence flew in to C-F-B Trenton yesterday with a multi-million dollar announcement in his pocket.
Defence Minister Peter Mckay announced six infrastructure projects totalling about 334-million dollars…creating about 18-hundred jobs. Mckay says members of the military will now have new accommodations for training and for the new equipment. The projects include a new maintenance hanger for the new Globemaster aircrafts, new air mobility training centre, new engineering and transportation garage, new facility for the Aerospace and Telecommunciatons Support Squadron, a training accomodation building and a materiel distribution centre.
