Artevino has come and gone for another year, producing some happy foodies and award winning wine makers.
The annual art-meets-food fundraiser for the Quinte Arts Council happened Friday at the Banquet Centre in Belleville.
One of the biggest winners of the night was Dan Sullivan, winemaker at Rosehall Run Vineyard near Hillier.
Sullivan says he sees the growing wine industry in the region as a good thing.
Rosehall Run garnered the highest medal count; and the highest-scoring wine was the 2008 cabernet franc by the Grange of Prince Edward County.
Artevino 2009 was the fifth annual event.
