City police last night (SAT) stopped a car for having an expired licence sticker… and that’s where everything started going down hill for this 46-year-old Quinte West man.
The man was arrested for impaired driving when he was found to have over four times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood stream.
Police say the man provided his brother’s name during the arrest.
When they learned the driver’s real name, they found he was wanted by another police service for impaired driving… and had already been prohibited from ever driving again due to previous impaired driving convictions.
The vehicle was impounded and the man is being held in custody on numerous charges.
