They say you should never return to the scene of the crime… and that couldn’t prove more true for a Quinte West man… who was busted at a city car dealership early this morning.
Belleville Police say a suspicous man was reported at a dealership on highway 62 at 4:35am…after returning there in a vehicle stolen from the same lot last week.
When officers arrived… the man fled the scene.. and was tracked down by the K-9 unit… near a shed north of the dealership.
The un-named 27 year old man faces numerous charges… including theft over 5 thousand dollars, driving while prohibited, and three counts of breach of undertaking.
He’ll remain in custody until a bail hearing on Tuesday
