The Local Health Integration Network is working with Belleville General Hospital to address concerns this week from a Trenton physician. Doctor John Bonn wrote Quinte Health Care, claiming he couldn’t find beds at the Intensive Care Unit for some of his Trenton patients requiring intensive care because of staffing issues at BGH. Southeast LHIN C-E-O Paul Huras says Bonn’s comments are being addressed as part of the financial recovery plan, and he expects a final decision on the issue by the end of September.
