Residents of the two Hastings County homes-for-the-aged will benefit from a graduation ceremony held in Belleville yesterday. Thirty-eight health care aides, employees of Hastings Manor in Belleville and Centennial Manor in Bancroft, graduated from a Personal Service Worker program. Director of long Term Care Claudette Dignard-Remillard says the workers were able to upgrade their skills to include any changes in the health care system. The county received a provincial grant of 250-thousand dollars to undertake the training.
