A foot-chase through Belleville’s East Side resulted in a former city resident being apprehended by the city’s police dog. Diablo caught the 28 year old man near Golfdale Road…yesterday…after he fled from officers who were trying to arrest him for assault. The suspects name is being with-held to protect the identity of the victim.
He’s facing assault and escaping custody charges and will appear in court today.
