Some support from the Quinte Economic Development Commission for the Bay of Quinte Tourist Council. Council representatives told the commission about their plans to improve their website, create new partnerships and emphasize links tourism has to economic development opportunities. Commission Chairperson Chris Herrington says the Q-E-D-C decided, after hearing the presentation, to write letters of support to funding agencies on behalf of the tourist council.
