Things aren’t so “friendly” between the “Friends of the Trail” organization and some people living along old rail trail north of Frankford.
A couple of residents complained to Quinte West Council last night about the “Friends” placing boulders on the trail to stop motorized vehicles from getting through on the walking trail. A meeting is being organized on the issue to see if there’s a solution.
Bill Gray, representing the “Friends’ organization, which is making improvements to the trail, says the boulders are there to stop motorized vehicles because of insurance liability concerns.
