The provincial government has chosen Host Kilmer Service Centres to modernize and upgrade its two service centres on Highway 4-0-1, just west of Trenton.
M-P-P Lou Rinaldi says Infrastructure Ontario is still finalizing contract details, and expects to conclude negotiations this fall for the work locally and at 18 other service centres on the 4-0-1 and highway 400 .
The new service centres will include modern fuel and restaurant services, improved tourism information, and clean and upgraded rest and comfort facilities.
The centre on the eastbound 4-0-1 near Trenton is closed, while the one on the westbound side offers comfort stations.
