Mayor Neil Ellis told our newsroom owner Jim Sinclair delivered a letter, informing the city he won’t re-open his salvage yard at the site. However, Sinclair says the business might resume on another property he owns on College Street East, just east of Crawford Metals. Sinclair was told by the owner of B. Green Recycling to close his operation on Dundas Street because of the decision by City Council erlier this week to deny his re-zoning application.
