A 16-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the theft of a car and making a daring escape from police in Belleville.
Officers tried to stop a vehicle taken from a Boswell Street address on August fourth, but the driver drove down the embankment on Highland Avenue, and took off across the Norris Whitney bridge.
The car was abandoned in Rossmore, and no one was found.
However, further investigation has led to charges of flight from police, dangerous driving and theft being laid against the youth, who will appear in court in September.
