Ottawa and the province have announced a 14-million dollar program, over four years, to allow producers quicker access to the latest on-farm technologies.
The program provides funding for applied research projects and on-farm demonstration projects that showcase new technologies. It’s open to non-supply organizations, although individual farmers or groups of farmers can also participate in demonstrations in collaboration with certain organizations. Prince Edward Hastings M-P Daryl Kramp and Ontario Minister of Agriculture Leona Dombrowsky made the announcement in Stirling today.
