An award winning Shakespeare company is coming to a park near you.
Toronto’s Driftwood Theatre Group is performing Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors at the Bloomfield Millpond tonight (SUN) with a pay-what-you-can performance.
Founder and artistic director, D. Jeremy Smith, says the company has been performing for audience donations for fifteen years but with the current recession, the affordable price is more meaningful than ever.
Smith says the cast of tonight’s show is the same one that performed at last week’s performances of King Lear in Belleville and Comedy of Errors in Trenton.
A complete schedule of the group’s tour is available online at www.driftwoodtheatre.com.
