Belleville is looking at revising parking restrictions in the area of Belleville General Hosptial. Councillor Jack Miller jumped on that last one. He told Council that the three-dollar an hour parking fee at B-G-H is four times higher than metered areas. He says a Kingston hospital gives the first hour free and charges 50-cents an hour after that. Councillor Egerton Boyce says the hospital should consider a parking garage. Councillors will get a staff report on proposed revisions to the parking restrictions in the hospital area.
