The Brighton council meeting about the proposed gravel pit for the Codrington area will be moved to a new location.
Municipal staff, expecting a large turnout at Monday night’s meeting, have decided to hold it at the Brighton Community Centre, rather than in the council chambers.
Saint Mary’s Cement has requested Official Plan Zoning Bylaw amendments to establish a pit east of County 30, but no decision will be made at the meeting.
The public session starts at eight o’clock, after the committee of the whole meeting, which begins at 6-30 at the municipal office.
