The Brighton Vehicle Licensing Office is staying put.
M-P-P Lou Rinaldi says the facility will continue to operate in the community, and will also be outfitted over the next few months to issue health cards.
The decision to keep the office open and add the health card services came after a provincial review of government service locations.
Brighton residents ralled behind the independently operated office after rumours began several months ago it might close.
