Charges have been laid in connection with illegal dumping nearly 18-months ago near Frankford. The Ministry of Environment laid the charges after a lengthy investigation in the Harrington Road area revealed a large amount of industrial waste sludge from the Trenton Norampac plant had been dumped into a field. Ronald Stanley Charlton and Robert Clayton Braun of Braunco Incorporated face three charges in Belleville Court in January for illegally establishing a waste disposal site and discharging a contaminant. Further investigation revealed another portion of the load had been dumped illegally in the Woodstock-area. Charges have also been laid in connection with that incident.
