Two Mississauga men have been fined and have lost their hunting licences for safety-related hunting offences near Stirling.
Victor Monteiro and Micheal Monteiro pleaded guilty in Belleville provincial court to discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle and discharging a firearm in a roadway.
They were fined 13-hundred dollars each, and their hunting licences were suspended for one year.
Stirling-Rawdon Township police seized the men’s equipment and called the Natural Resources Ministry after they noticed one of the men shoot at a wild turkey while they were driving down a road on April 30th, the opening week of the turkey season.
