While the lockdown of the Warkworth prison continues, an incident yesterday has led to the lockdown of the Joyceville Institution, east of Kingston.
Weapons were discovered in a common area. Prison officials will search the facility and all inmates before a return to normal routine. Visitation at Joyceville, as at Warkworth, is cancelled.
