Local construction firm, Mirtren Contractors, will renovate St Micheal’s Catholic School in Belleville, and build an addition to it as well.
The contract is estimated at 6 million, 690 thousand dollars, plus GST. Trustees for the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic School board selected the lowest tender.
There were 6 bids for the project, with the highest being 8 million, 450 thousand dollars.
Mirtren Contractors, of Trenton, is now building a new Sacred Heart Catholic School in Marmora.
