A stolen vehicle is responsible for a fire call near CFB Trenton. Military and Quinte West firecrews responded, just after 7 o’clock this morning, when thick black smoke was seen rising from a wooded area off Whites Road. The Jeep Cherokee, taken from a nearby home a short time earlier, was fully ablaze when they arrived. Anyone with information about the stolen vehicle is asked to contact the O-P-P.
