Drivers are going around in circles in Prince Edward County.
An opening ceremony was held Friday afternoon at the new roundabout west of Picton.
MPP Leona Dombrowsky says she’s delighted to have Ontario’s first provincial roundabout in her riding.
Mayor Leo Finnegan says a formerly dangerous intersection now has a resolution and he’s very pleased with the results.
Officials say while the renewed intersection on highway 33 was opened for use in the spring, it is now considered “complete” because all work – including landscaping and signage – is finished.
