There’s no question that Brighton is growing faster than many municipalities. and, as Councillor Brian Ostrander explains a consultants report suggests assumptions by Northumberland County’s Growth Management Strategy doesn’t reflect the realities of future growth in Brighton. He says the reports shows that Brighton’s pressures will outpace the plan….due in large part to expansion at CFB Trenton. Brighton will ask the Province to take a good look at Brighton and how quickly its expanding. and, Mayor Chris Herrington suggests the report be submitted to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario.
