was an unscheduled chicken bbq on the side of the 4-0-1 near Colborne overnight. Northumberland OPP report Alnwick-Haldimand fire crews were dispatched, at 3am, when a tractor trailer loaded with frozen poultry went up in flames. The big-rig was blocking the eastbound lanes for a short time….and, is still causing slowdowns just west of Colborne. The tractor and trailer were destroyed….but, the driver was not injured.
