More drugs have been confiscated by authorities at the Warkworth Institution.
Prison officials say they intercepted a package delivered to the prison on June 30th which contained two paint cans and five sets of plastic gardening tools.
After further investigation… authorities found 15 wrapped packages in one paint can… and 21 wrapped packages in the other.
Correctional Service officials believe both packages contained tobacco and drugs but have not confirmed the exact amounts.
Meanwhile… on July 4th… a visitor tried to smuggle in almost 3 thousand dollars worth of tobacco and what is believed to be cocaine.
Both the visitor and an inmate were charged by O-P-P with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
