Stirling-Rawdon Township is ready to give the O-P-P an ultimatum.
Mayor Peter Kooistra, annoyed with continual delays by the contract policing division in providing a quote on policing the municipality, has invited provincial officials to the July 13th council meeting.
He says they will have to have a price with them, or Stirling-Rawdon won’t pursue the issue any further, and will stay with its municipal service.
The O-P-P quote was supposed to be ready earlier this year, then was delayed several times, including to the end of June, and the latest postponement was to mid-August.
