The provincial government is making it a little easier for young people to find jobs in Quinte this summer.
Youth Habilitation Quinte, which operates “Career Edge,” will get almost 700-thousand dollars through the Youth Opportunity Strategy to provide 170 jobs for teenagers between 15 and 18.
Manager Ron Frick says the money will pay employers the equivalent of adult minimum wage to take on students for six weeks.
