It’s not easy choosing just the right logo to sell your product…as Belleville city council found out last night. Belleville city council got all fired up over a “branding” issue last night and when the smoke cleared they stayed with the same old brand. A committee of council worked for months, trying to come up with a logo that would serve all departments, but also sell the city in the business marketplace. They recommended a seagull flying through a circle, Councillor Egerton Boyce argued it didn’t represent the city. The familiar sailboat, city hall, water tank logo won the day.
