The Liberal candidate in Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington in the last federal election will represent the party in the riding again in the next election.
Dave Remington was the only person to file nomination papers by last friday’s deadline, and will be acclaimed when party officials meet near Sharbot Lake on July seventh.
Conservative Scott Reid easily won the riding, which stretches from Napanee to Carleton Place, in the election last November.
