Brighton is getting a new Fire Chief and a new Deputy Clerk later this year. Mayor Chris Herington announced the winning candidate for the Fire Chief’s position effective August 4th. Dale Wales has worked for the Lambton College Fire and Emergency Response Centre for the past nine years. Current Fire Chief Harry Tackaberry will remain with the service as Deputy Chief.
Meanwhile, Brighton Council also announced last night that Vicki Kimmett will take over as Deputy Clerk later this month. Kimmett has worked the past nine years for the City of Kingston in their Engineering and Clerk’s office.
