Drug dealers planning to set up in Belleville should beware according to the city’s Police Chief. Cory McMullen was commenting after today’s presentation to the Police Service Board by the Emergency Response Team….the containment has already been involved in 12 high-risk drug warrants this year. McMullen says they try and use the 12-member team as much as possible because of their high level of training in high risk situations. Meanwhile, the Project Longarm undercover team was involved in 20-cases in the first quarter of the year…resulting in 120-charges against 47 people.
