A successful stakeout for Belleville Police overnight. Just after 10 o’clock officers responded to a North Front Street dealership and scared off two suspects removing tools from a Union Gas Utility truck and transferring them to nearby pick-up truck. The officers staked out the parking lot awaiting their return…and, just before 2am, the pair returned pulling a Little Tykes wagon containing two sets of gloves, large plastic bags, and open beer. The men, ages 24 and 25, have lengthy records and are being held for bail hearings. Anyone missing a green wagon with a brown handle can contact the Belleville Police Service.
