He’s recieved player of the week, goalie of the week and CHL Goalie of the year honours over the past two years… and, yesterday Belleville Bulls goaltender Mike Murphy picked up his 2nd straight OHL Goalie of the Year award at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto yesterday. The Inverary native set a Bulls franchise record this year for most career wins and says he’s enjoyed every minute of playing in Belleville. Bulls forward Bryan Cameron received the Mahon Trophy yesterday as the OHL’s top scoring right winger. Cameron is the fifth Belleville Bull to win the award…Dave McLean, Darren McCarty, Branko Radivojivic and Mike Renzi have won in the past. Other notable N-H-L’ers to win the award include Patrick Kane, Mike Foligno… and Corey Perry. The Bulls will hand out their team awards at a banquet later this month.
