A Cherry Valley area group has stepped up its opposition to a proposed 237-cottage development on East Lake.
Friends of East Lake President Linda Cole says members took action right after holding a public meeting last friday, hand delivering brochures, explaining their position, to nearby residents..
She says the Friends will also set up a table on Main Street in Picton this weekend, providing information on the group’s concerns about the resort.
The Cottage Advisors proposal will be discussed at a special planning public council meeting in Picton on June tenth.
