The President of the group trying to establish a dog park in Brighton is frustrated with Lower Trent Conservation and discouraged with town council. Lower Trent pulled its property at Procter Park off the table saying the one-acre parcel of land wasn’t big enough. but, Lois Donovan of the Brighton Off-Leash Recreational Dog Area says the real reason is because five people complained. Donovan figures a few thousand residents and their dogs would use the park and says its frustrating because fundraising had already started for the project. Councillor Craig Kerr told council this week he has two other locations in mind.
