A massive sporting event planned for Quinte West this summer.
Organizers are planning the Canadian Law Enforcement and Fire Games to run July 5th through the 12th. There will be 36 events, from fishing, to bench pressing, from archery, to boxing.
The non profit event will feature police officers, firefighters, prison guards, and border crossing guards. Money raised from the event will go to the Special Olympics. The Quinte West Police Board will consider a grant to the Games in upcoming budget talks.
