Premier Doug Ford introduced his team of parliamentary assistants Monday with the list including both Bay of Quinte MPP Tyler Allsopp and Hastings-Lennox and Addington MPP Ric Bresee.
Allsopp, who previously served as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Long-Term Care, will serve the same role in the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade.
Ric Bresee remains Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Transportation and adds the role of Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister for Seniors and Accessibility.
In a statement Premier Ford said, “Now more than ever, our team of parliamentary assistants is ready to support our government’s mandate to protect Ontario and build a stronger and more competitive economy that can withstand whatever comes our way.”

Laurie Scott, Ernie Hardeman and Logan Kanapathi will be nominated for committee chairships in the coming days.
