Sex charges have been laid against a teacher at a Catholic High School in Belleville. The unidentified 47-year old teacher at St. Theresa’s Secondary has been suspended for the past several weeks following a month-long investigation into inappropriate texts to a female student. and, earlier this week Belleville Police charged him with 4-counts of sexual assault and 3-counts of sexual exploitation. A letter was sent home to parents advising them of the charges…which have yet to be proven in court…and, encouraging their prayers. All of the alleged victims are young women.
