An 85-year-old woman was taken to hospital following a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Pinnacle and Station streets Friday afternoon.
Belleville police say it happened just before 1:30 p.m.
The pedestrian was transported to Trenton Memorial Hospital for treatment of several fractures to her foot, significant cuts / abrasions and soft tissue injuries.
The driver of the truck remained on-scene and was fully cooperative with police.
The collision remains under investigation but police say alcohol or drugs are not suspected and speed does not appear to be a factor in the incident.
Members of the Belleville Police Service’s Traffic Safety Unit and Forensic Identification Section both attended to process the scene.
