Northumberland OPP have charged a person with sexual assault.
An investigation began on Thursday into a sexual assault alleged to have occurred in 2020 at an address in the Municipality of Trent Hills.
A 22-year-old male from Marmora has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.
The person shall not be named due to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act as he was 17 years old at the time.
He is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
